]]> If you missed it all over Twitter last night, Alf announced the top 12 bands for KTCL’s Hometown for the Holidays contest. That’s where Channel 93.3 puts local bands in to regular rotation for a week, you listen, vote it down to the top three – and they play on December 17th at Casselman’s to become the new champs. Last year’s winner was the awesome Air Dubai.

It’s that time of year again, and Bop Skizzum is ready to rock the stage at Denver’s annual Westword Music Showcase! Bop Skizzum will be bringing the funk to the City Hall stage on June 18th as a part of this annual Denver tradition. Playing alongside other local favorites like Air Dubai, Monroe Monroe, Boulder Acoustic Society, My Body Sings Electric, Kinetix, and even some national acts like Chromeo, Young The Giant, and Yo le Tengo, there’s sure to be something for everyone! Bop Skizzum hits the City Hall stage right at 6:45, and we hope to see you there!


ALSO, be sure to vote for Bop Skizzum as the BEST FUNK BAND IN DENVER! Bop Skizzum has been selected to be a part of the Westword Music Showcase Best of Denver 2011!
